1. Why do I receive so much e-mail from you?

Response: My network is quite large and is composed of three distinct audiences-

  1. Relationship Coaching Institute for training and certifying helping professionals
  2. MillionDollarPractice.net for private practice professionals
  3. Our many websites and resources for singles and couples

Because we provide so much value to our subscribers and members in the form of tele-seminars, e-programs, audio programs, newsletters, etc, for FREE, many folks get excited about all the cool stuff and sign up for multiple things, then feel overwhelmed with information.

For a complete (almost) listing of our websites click here or scroll to the bottom of this page.

Solution:
If you wish to decrease the amount of e-mail you receive from us, feel
free to narrow your participation to ONE of the above organizations or
programs using the following procedure-

Five Steps For Modifying Your Subscription-

Step One: Open any e-mail you’ve received from us

Step Two: At the bottom, click on the link labeled “If you no longer wish to receive communication from us

Note: If clicking this link doesn’t bring up a web page, then copy the URL and paste it into your browser

Step Three: On the page where it says “To unsubscribe from one or more of the following subscriptions, select the corresponding ‘Subscribe’ or ‘Unsubscribe’ radio button.”

Step Four: Decide which subscription(s) you want to keep and click the “Unsubscribe” radio button for each subscription you wish to remove.

Step Five: Click the “Change Subscription” button at the bottom of the page

2. Can I stay on your list and not receive marketing-oriented e-mail?

Response: We completely understand that you don’t want to be pressured to buy anything, and that is absolutely not our intention. We sincerely want to make a difference in the world and most of our e-mail messages ARE NOT SALES LETTERS! If you take a look at what you receive from us, we rarely ask you to buy anything.

Most of our e-mail are announcements about our upcoming FREE tele-seminars, our monthly newsletters, e-program installments, information on accessing your subscriber benefits and bonuses, invitations to access recordings of recent tele-seminars, etc.

While we are a business and do have services, programs, and products to market, we absolutely don’t expect you to buy anything by sending you sales letters. We believe in marketing by providing value- if you like what you have experienced for FREE, if we have PROVEN the value of our information/program/service, once you are CONVINCED that we can truly help you be successful, ONLY THEN do we realistically expect you to invest your hard-earned money in
a service, program, or product.

Solution:
Given that more than 90% of our e-mail provides subscriber value and IS
NOT marketing-oriented, we suggest the following three strategies for
handling e-mail overwhelm-

First, please don’t whitewash everything you receive from us as “marketing” or “selling.” If you examine a little more closely you’ll
see that the great majority of what you receive is intended to help
you and provide value AT NO CHARGE.

Second, if you’re truly feeling burdened by our e-mail, please do unsubscribe from one or more of our lists and accept the value you’ve received so far with our best wishes. See above for the Five
Steps For Modifying Your Subscription
.

Third, don’t feel compelled to read every e-mail you receive. We use the subject line to clearly identify what the e-mail message is about, and if you’re not interested or don’t have the time, simply hit “Delete.”

3. How do I unsubscribe from your list completely?

Response: Follow these Four Easy Steps for Unsubscribing-

Step One: Open any e-mail you’ve received from us

Step Two: At the bottom, click on the link labeled “If you no longer wish to receive communication from us

Note: If clicking this link doesn’t bring up a web page, then copy the URL and paste it into your browser. Step Three: On the next page scroll to the bottom and select the “Main Database” radio button.

Step Four: Click the “Change Subscription button at the bottom of the page

4. I don’t recall subscribing- how did I get on your list?

Response:
We absolutely do not spam! The definition of “spam” is “unsolicited e-mail” and we do not e-mail anyone who is not already a member of our network. Because of the size and variety of our organization (see list of URLs below) it’s possible
you signed up for something and didn’t realize you were joining our network. For example, if you become a member of our practice-building network and we invite you to our FREE live practice building tele-seminars. We figure that you would WANT to access these valuable benefits of our practice-building network, and if you’re not interested, you can opt out anytime.

If you purchase a product from our website you are added to our email list for that product. Occasionally folks are added to our list manually by request at a conference or similar situation, but this is always at your request. We do not add anyone to our list that didn’t specifically request to be added.

5. How do I change my e-mail address in your system?

Response:
Follow these four steps-

Step One:
Open any e-mail you’ve received from us

Step Two:
At the bottom, click on the link labeled “To update your contact
information
” Note: If clicking this link doesn’t bring up a web page, then copy the URL and paste it into your browser

Step Three:
On the resulting webpage enter your new e-mail address in the box provided.

Step Four:
Click the “Change Address” button at the bottom of the page

6. Will you give my e-mail address to anyone else?

Response:
Here is our Privacy Policy that appears on every e-mail you receive from
us-

Privacy Policy- We loathe spam as much as you do and will not sell,
rent, or share your contact information. The only e-mails you will receive are important messages directly from David Steele or one of his authorized staff. At the bottom of each e-mail will be a link you can use to opt-out at any time.

7. What does “Double Opt In” mean?

Response:
“Double Opt In” requires you to confirm your subscription
by clicking a link you receive by e-mail before you are added to an e-mail
distribution list. Here is our Double Opt In procedure:

Step 1:
You enter your name and e-mail address in the opt
in box
on one of our websites

Step 2: You are taken to a Confirm webpage that informs you that you will receive a confirmation message to the e-mail address you provided with a confirmation link that MUST be used to confirm your subscription.

Step 3: If you entered a valid e-mail address you receive the confirmation e-mail with the subject heading- “[your first name], your response is required” that contains a confirmation link. If you do not click this link you will NOT be subscribed. Note: If clicking this link doesn’t bring up a web page, then copy the URL and paste it into your browser. Sometimes this confirmation e-mail is blocked by a spam filter and if you don’t find it, open it, and click on the confirmation link, your subscription remains incomplete and in limbo.

Exception-
If you are already a member of our network using the e-mail address you entered, you have already completed this procedure and do not need to do it again. Additional subscriptions and registrations will be approved and effective without needing to click a confirmation link.

Step 4: After clicking the confirmation link three things happen-

A. You are taken to a Thank You webpage that typically has information and links for accessing your subscriber benefits and bonuses
B. You become an official member of our network and are added to our e-mail distribution list.
C. You receive a welcome e-mail that has information and links for accessing your subscriber benefits and bonuses. If you subscribed to a newsletter you also receive the current issue.

8. I’m going on vacation, can I put my subscription on hold until I get back?

Response:
Unfortunately, we’re not aware of any e-mail distribution list that has this feature. Let us know if you do!

Solution:
Here are two options for you-

Option A:
In your e-mail account, create a folder for your subscription(s)
and use “Message Rules” or similar feature to direct your
e-mail into that folder while you’re away. Then, your inbox won’t be
overwhelmingly filled up (with our stuff anyway!). For Message Rules,
it’s easiest to use the e-mail address of the sender, which for your
subscription is usually consistent.

Option B:
Unsubscribe and rejoin our list when you get back.
